  • Account and Sync Data: if you sign in, Promodo stores your email, password hash or OAuth account, tasks, sessions, preferences, achievements, push subscriptions, and focus-cafe presence so your data can sync across devices. Usage analytics help improve the service.

Data Storage

Promodo is local-first for guests: timer, task, and progress data stay in browser localStorage unless you choose to sign in. When you sign in or enable cloud features, the app stores the synced data needed for your account in PostgreSQL so it can work across devices. You can continue using the core timer without an account.

Third-Party Services

We may use the following third-party services:

  • Analytics and reliability services, including Amplitude, Google Analytics, and Sentry
  • Cloud, email, and authentication providers, including Vercel, Resend, Google OAuth, and database hosting

Your Rights

  • Access: You can view guest data in browser localStorage and signed-in data through the app surfaces that sync from your account
  • Deletion: Clear browser data to remove local guest data; contact us or use account controls when available to remove synced account data
  • Control: You can use the core timer without an account, and cloud sync remains optional
